GreenExergy AB is a  privately held company headquartered in Skellefteå established in 2009 to develop, market and deliver technology services for the production of sustainable energy.  GreenExergy’s primary focus is on the delivery of technology services for the production of bioenergy from forestry and sawmill residues in Scandinavia and Europe.

GreenExergy is a joint venture between Skellefteå Kraft AB and Outotec AB with participation from Nordtherm AB, GreenGold Investment Group AB and Sparbanken AB.   GreenExergy was created to synergise the unique strengths of its founders in the field of bioenergy. 

Skellefteå Kraft is one of Sweden’s largest energy producers. As a leader in sustainable energy, it has several achievements to its credit in the research and development of biocombinate technology.

Outotec  is a leading global provider of process solutions, technologies and services for the mining and metallurgical industries and has extensive knowhow in energy and environmental technologies . 

Nordtherm is a consultant with long experience from the process design of energy plants based on biofuels. 

GreenGold Investment Group is a knowledge-intensive Swedish investment and asset management house which is active in the international forestry-wood industry.

Sparbanksstiftelsen is a Venture capitalist who engages in promoting regional economic development in the northern part of Sweden.
